Function

The Brussels Dispute Resolution practice of Freshfields is expanding and is looking for ambitious midlevel associates to join its team.

The team in Brussels represents Belgian and international corporate and private equity clients as well as financial institutions on cross-border and domestic litigation and arbitration, white collar crime matters and regulatory investigations. The team is recognised as a market leader in corporate and commercial disputes, financial disputes, competition litigation, global investigations and risk management.

Profile

  • You are a midlevel lawyer with 2-6 years of experience in dispute resolution.
  • You are Belgian law trained and have excellent academic credentials. A post-graduate degree is a plus.
  • You are a Dutch speaker with an excellent command of English and a good command of French.
  • You are an ambitious and motivated person with first rate technical abilities driven to do high profile work;
  • You are creative, curious and rigorous, have good communication skills and are able to take on a high degree of responsibility.
  • You are proactive and committed to providing an excellent service to clients.
