Associate Corporate M&A / Finance

As a Corporate / Corporate Finance Associate within our Corporate team in Brussels, you will combine in-depth knowledge of corporate law with expertise in financial transactions, financing structures and strategic deals. We expect a solid understanding of both the legal and financial dimensions of transactions. Every team member is closely involved in the client relationship throughout the entire transaction. • Drafting and reviewing agreements and legal opinions using state-of-the-art technology, including AI;
• Working directly with experienced lawyers who strive for legal excellence;
• Advising clients on a wide range of corporate law matters;
• Collaborating with financial advisers, banks and investment funds to align the legal structure with the financial reality;
• Active involvement in M&A transactions (including advising management teams in buy-outs) and corporate restructurings, including due diligence processes and drafting transaction documentation;
• Working closely with different departments within the firm to deliver integrated solutions.

• You are passionate about corporate law and its financial aspects;
• You have at least 4 to 6 years of experience as a corporate / corporate finance lawyer;
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken, and a good knowledge of French;
• You are communicative, proactive and enjoy working as part of a team;
• You are ambitious and eager to continuously learn in a challenging and stimulating environment.
