We handle cases in foreign direct investment, competition law (restrictive practices, merger control, state aid), and broader European legal matters.  We are looking for a colleague who: 

• Is a lawyer with 0 to 3 years of experience in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) screening, EU regulatory law, or closely related fields, with a solid understanding of EU and Belgian regulatory frameworks and policies. The firm’s work includes advising on FDI screening procedures, coordinating multi-jurisdictional filings, and assessing regulatory risks linked to foreign investments. You may also be called upon to assist in matters of general EU law and, where relevant, in proceedings before the Courts of the European Union.
• Has a native level in French or Dutch, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Is proficient in English, which is essential in this role.
• Completed a solid academic track in law at a Belgian university.
• Is analytical: you have a sharp legal mind and a proven ability to analyse complex regulatory and legal issues.
• Is driven: you are motivated to further develop your expertise in FDI and EU regulatory matters and to build strong client relationships.
• Is team-oriented: you enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and contributing to shared goals.
