Fieldfisher is pleased to announce that it has elected Wouter Vandorpe to Of Counsel effective July 1, 2015. Wouter is an energy & utilities lawyer in the Competition & EU Regulatory Department of Fieldfisher, Brussels.
He advises enterprises and authorities primarily on energy law related matters, amongst which on renewable energy projects, energy efficiency & heating related issues, waste, public procurement and energy subsidy mechanisms. He is also affiliate researcher for the Institute of Environmental and Energy Law at the Catholic University of Leuven, and is member of the editorial staff of the legal journal on environmental and energy law "Milieu-en Energierecht" (M.E.R.).
Wouter is frequently asked as a speaker for specific new energy related items such as smart energy, energy service companies, climate, the Energy Union and closed distribution systems.
