The EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) imposes specific obligations on financial entities towards ICT third-party service providers.
Although similar obligations are already in place under existing legal and regulatory (outsourcing) frameworks, DORA intends to tackle ICT risks arising from the use of a third party’s ICT services in the most comprehensive way.
This results in a complex set of obligations covering every aspect of a financial entity’s arrangements with ICT third-party service providers, ranging from governance requirements to key contractual provisions.
To help financial entities with the preparation of a compliant ICT service provider risk management, our Information & Communication Technology (ICT) team will organize a webinar on this topic on 6 December 2023.
After a short recap on the general framework of DORA and its various chapters, Bastiaan Bruyndonckx and Thibault Boscart will unravel the obligations related to ICT third-party risks (Chapter V of DORA) and provide financial entities with an overview of the key points of attention in this regard.
The webinar will provide valuable insights and practical tips on how financial entities should properly deal with ICT service providers under the new regulatory framework.
