Simont Braun is pleased to announce the arrival of Steven Callens as partner in our corporate department as from September 1st 2016.
Steven Callens specialises in M&A, corporate law, corporate governance and arbitration. Steven has particular M&A experience in the marketing, banking, and renewable energy sectors. Steven is a regular speaker at conferences on corporate law matters. He is a member of the Belgian Arbitration Institute (CEPANI) and of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). He is a member of the Brussels bar since 2009. Before, since 2001, Steven has successively been a member of the Ghent and the Antwerp Bar. Steven holds a Master in Law from Universiteit Gent (Belgium, 1999) and a Postgraduate in Economic Law from Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium, 2001).
