Prof. Joeri Vananroye joins Quinz as Of Counsel

Joeri Vananroye has recently joined the team of business law firm Quinz as of counsel.

Since 2012, Joeri Vananroye is appointed as a professor at the KU Leuven (Institute for Commercial and Insolvency Law). He teaches commercial law, economic analysis of the law and corporate law in Leuven, Brussels and Kortrijk and is coordinator for the option business strategy in the joint Economics, Business and Law program. Previously, he was a fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation, a fellow of the Fund for Scientific Research (Flanders) and a researcher at the Jan Ronse Institute for Corporate Law. He has been the recipient of the TPR prize, the APR prize and the Albert Fettweis prize.

Prior to joining Quinz, he worked for more than 8 years at Baker & McKenzie in Brussels, where he assisted the M&A and corporate litigation practice, notably in the financial sector, and advised international and domestic companies and governments on various questions of corporate law.

Joeri Vananroye will assist Quinz in the areas of corporate litigation, corporate finance and strategy, and insolvency law.
