New partner at Ambos

Ambos Lawyers welcomes a new partner. Philippe Van Dijck joins the partnership and will co-direct the Antwerp office. He will continue to share his expertise in the Shipping &Transport, Commercial, and Litigation teams.

Bio

Philippe Van Dijck is specialized in maritime, transport and commercial law. He assists clients with pre-litigation advice, settlement negotiations and represents clients before different Belgian courts.

In addition, Philippe advises national and international clients on complex commercial issues, shipping due diligence and other port-related topics. Philippe complements his practice with drafting and negotiating of different commercial contracts.

Philippe has been with Ambos Lawyers since the start of his career in 2010. After successfully finishing his traineeship, he became a junior associate at the firm in 2013 and a senior associate in 2017. After his training, he completed a secondment at HFW in London (2014).

Philippe obtained an LLM Degree in International Commercial Maritime Law (2010) from Swansea University (UK) after completing his Master of Law at the University of Antwerp (2009).

Philippe is a guest lecturer at the University of Antwerp, the Antwerp Maritime Academy, Portilog, APEC and IMCS Academy. He is also a board member of Youngship Belgium.
