AKD’s Brussels office is now looking for a mid-level lawyer specialising in real estate law and transactions to strengthen its growing team.

AKD’s Belgian real estate team assists in virtually all aspects of real estate law, from development and construction, to acquisition, occupations and disposals, including project finance. We act for owners, occupiers, contractors, developers and lenders.

As a mid-level real estate lawyer, you will handle files from A to Z, in direct contact with the partner and clients. You will participate in challenging and often cross-border real estate matters, such as the acquisition and sale of property and real estate companies, rights in rem, joint ventures, real estate leasing, real estate financing and real estate litigation.

As our ideal candidate, you:

• hold a Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian University and can show strong academic records;
   
• have 3 to 6 years' experience in transactional real estate within an international or national law firm;
   
• have a strong interest in transactional real estate, investment real estate and commercial real estate in general;
   
• have enough experience to act independently;
   
• are ambitious, result-driven and a real team player; and
   
• are a Dutch or French native speaker and fluent in English (you are also proficient in Dutch / French).
