Who is Osborne Clarke Brussels looking for?

We are looking to reinforce the EU & Competition Law team with an associate with at least three years of work experience in a reputable law firm or a competition authority. The ideal candidate not only has experience in antitrust and merger control law, but also in neighbouring areas, such as state aid, trade, public procurement or EU regulatory, and has worked in the Benelux.

You will be involved in a broad range of matters where the client counts on our expertise in EU and competition law to defend their national, European and international interests. You will be part of an international team with experts based across the major European jurisdictions.

We are looking for someone who:

• is entrepreneurial and wants to be part of a growing practice;

• is eager to learn, be innovative and dares to think outside the box;
   
• has at least three years of working experience in a reputable law firm or a competition authority;
   
• has a Belgian or Dutch law degree with excellent academic results;
   
• is qualified (or eligible to qualify) in Belgium or the Netherlands;
   
• is fluent in English as well as French and/or Dutch;
   
• has good oral and written communications skills; and
   
• has a good sense of humour and is pleasant to work with.
