• You’ll take up the responsibility for the review of brand & product-related contracts (procurement, sales, marketing, distribution...) and assess any legal implications that need to be brought to the business’ attention.
   
• You prepare, review and modify contract templates
   
• You provide professional, timely and pragmatic legal advice (both B2B and B2C) to the business entities of Lotus Bakeries in your designated areas in their day-to-day operations, including unfair market practices, product liability, advertising, e-commerce, etc.
   
• You monitor legal developments, perform research and analysis of global laws, rules, regulations and litigation applicable to the Lotus Bakeries Group. You interpret and advise on the above and communicate findings and implementation steps towards the Legal Team.
   
• Under the guidance of a senior Legal Counsel, you will, in due time, be able to grow and expand your expertise towards other domains such as corporate law, M&A, compliance and legal improvement projects.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

• A Master’s degree in Legal Studies, combined with a first experience at a top-tier International Law Firm.
   
• A first experience with commercial contract drafting and knowledge of contract law, corporate law and EU regulations such as consumer protection, e-commerce, advertisement, antitrust, etc.
   
• A warm personality that combines strong social skills and team-orientation with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
   
• A focus on excellent execution, treating deadlines with high priority, and an above-average attention to detail.
   
• Clear analytical skills on top of a curiousity to learn and good organizational talents. An excellent mastery of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
   
• A fondness for working in an International environment.
