This position reports to the Co-Country Managing Partners in close collaboration with the entire Partnership. The Senior Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Co-Country Managing Partners in a variety of ways, including meeting preparation and attendance, preparation of communication, follow-up on meetings and agreed actions, assistance with special projects and more. The successful candidate is discrete, proactive, communicative, independent, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. This role requires excellent judgment and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the strategic administrative right hand of the Co-Country Managing Partners
  • Prepare content for meetings, assemble and distribute briefing materials/meeting bundles
  • Attend meetings as appropriate, take notes and prepare and distribute meeting minutes, follow-up on actions in a timely manner
  • Analyse data and follow-up on action points
  • Responsible for writing, editing and proof reading a wide variety of documents and communication
  • Manage relationships with Partners, Location Heads and all relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate execution of strategic initiatives and projects
  • Perform other duties as necessary

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Native level English/Dutch with good knowledge of French
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Able to work in an autonomous manner
  • Must be very well organized, detail oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Diplomatic communication, both verbal and written
  • Maintains complete confidentiality and is aware of topics which are sensitive
