LLM in International and European Law in Brussels - online info session March 3, 2022

Created in 1971 as the Programme on international and Legal Cooperation (PILC), our LLM in International and European Law (60 ECTS) is one of the most established LLMs of its kind. Over its 50 years, the programme has accrued a strong alumni network of over 1300 lawyers in 110 countries holding high positions in all EU institutions, at the WTO, the IMF, the UN, and major international law firms on all continents. For Benelux-based legal professionals, it’s a unique opportunity to acquire a prominent law degree just around the corner.

A yearly selection of up to 40 international postgraduate students are offered a demanding and versatile curriculum that opens fascinating career paths in European and international legal affairs. After a solid set of interactive practice-based core courses on EU institutional law and judicial protection, EU external relations law, public international and comparative law, human rights and competition law, students can choose to focus on one of 3 specialisation options: Public law; Business law; and Data Law. 

The location of this LLM in Brussels gives the programme the opportunity to benefit from the immediate vicinity of EU institutions and numerous international organizations, law firms and companies during the course of the year.
