DLA Piper continues to grow its European Tax practice with new partner hire in Belgium

DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Nicolas Engelmann as a new partner in its Tax practice in Belgium.

Nicolas Engelmann will be joining the firm in January 2022 from Deloitte, where he was a Director in their Global Business Tax team. He has more than 12 years of experience in international corporate tax advisory. Nicolas assists international and national businesses with their (international) corporate tax issues and opportunities. His focus areas include in particular strategic tax (re)structuring projects such as business model and legal restructurings, inbound & outbound investments, legal restructurings, M&A, private equity issues, transfer pricing, and R&D / innovation tax incentives.

Nicolas has been serving Belgian based groups and Belgian affiliates of globally operating businesses, mainly in the energy & resources, shipping and life sciences sector.
