Tom Schoors - New managing Partner

After many years of dedicated leadership, Dirk Meeus has decided to step down from his role as Managing Partner of Allen & Overy Belgium and on 1 May 2021, he will pass the baton over to Tom Schoors.

Since 2008, Dirk has combined this role with several other responsibilities. As of 1 May 2021, Dirk will continue to focus on his role as Co-Head of the Global Corporate practice and as member of the Global Executive Committee. Furthermore, he will continue to dedicate himself to his clients, both in Belgium and abroad.

Tom Schoors, who has been a partner at Allen & Overy since 2011 and Head of our Belgian Litigation & Contracts practice for 6 years, comments: "I am very honoured for being elected to this role, and would like to thank my fellow partners for putting their trust in me in these unprecedented times.
