The birth of a new executive education programme, unique in its approach to art, law and finance: “Owning and Investing in A…

Investing in art has become increasingly interesting over the years. What with financial crises and classic investment products in decline, art investment presents itself as an alternative asset not to be underestimated.

The University of Luxembourg, via its Competence Centre and in association with Christie’s Education London, has developed a high standard academic training programme targeting professionals active in the art world (or contemplating a career in the art world), desirous to

  • sharpen their knowledge of the financial, legal, accounting, tax and logistics aspects of art related transactions
  • develop their network with professionals in the art sector
  • participate in field trips within the world’s pre-eminent organizations for art (The European Art Fair (TEFAF), the Masterpiece London Art Fair, Christie’s auction house)

Courses will be taught in English partly at the University of Luxembourg on Kirchberg Campus (March 11-16, 2019), partly at Christie's Education London (June 24-28, 2019). The training represents 10 teaching days and confers 10 ECTS credits.
