MODO expands with 3 new associates

Sector focus law firm MODO expands with 3 new associates.

Ellis Vandorpe joins, with her 5 years’ experience as lawyer, the ‘Creative industries’ team headed by Didier Deneuter. With her expertise in business law she will enrich the sector specific business know-how of this team focused on all aspects of creation, media and sports. “Ellis’ profile combining thorough legal know-how with a hands-on approach matches the philosophy of MODO and the members we wish to expand with”.

Ellis also developed practical expertise in real estate. Together with Sophie De Krock, Ellis will reinforce the ‘Property industry’ team headed by Dominique Walravens.

Sophie De Krock, also just started as junior associate at MODO. She will assist Dominique Walravens in the preparation of litigation and advisory work related to real estate (lease agreements, purchase of real estate, co-ownership, soil pollution, construction). She will also be involved in litigation and advisory work related to distribution (franchise, agency, exclusive concessions). “I am very excited with this double reinforcement. The boost it gives to my team, allows me to respond to the increase of assistance requests”, comments Dominique Walravens.

Guillaume Milde will as junior associate assist Régine Feltkamp and Gerrit Hendrikx in the preparation of transactional and advisory work particularly related to regulated businesses (energy sector, banking and finance sector), innovative industries and to digital industries. Guillaume obtained his Master in Law at the Catholic University of Leuven (2018 – Magna Cum Laude) with a dissertation on the rights of the final seller in respect of consumer sales. Currently Guillaume is pursuing an additional Master in Competition Law.
