Crowell & Moring expands in Brussels

International law firm Crowell & Moring has had a healthy infusion of new talent over the past few months at its Brussels office. The firm has expanded its key practices: IP, privacy & cybersecurity, and competition.

Senior counsel Gunther Meyer (third from left) has joined the IP group, which also welcomes new associates Frances Caudron (center left), Ellen Desnyder (center right), and Linh Truong (second from right). Gunther was formerly with Eversheds Sutherland.

Our growing Privacy & Cybersecurity team now boasts counsel Heidi Waem (third from right) and associate Evelina Roegiers (far right). Counsel Karl Stas (far left) and associate Marieke Van Nieuwenborgh (second from left) are onboard for EU and Belgian competition.

Together with seven other 2017/2018 recruits (for competition: senior counsel Jules Stuyck and associates Evi Mattioli and Laura van Kruijsdijk; for privacy and cybersecurity: senior counsel Maarten Stassen and associate Louis Vanderdonckt; and for corporate, commercial and employment: associates Margaux Van Steenbergh and Stéphanie Michiels), these new additions have helped to grow the Brussels team to 31 lawyers.
