Simont Braun welcomes new partner in its Supreme Court department

Simont Braun is delighted to announce the appointment of Ann Frédérique Belle as a partner in its Supreme Court department. Ann Frédérique Belle is one of the twenty lawyers admitted to the Belgian Supreme Court bar.

She has been a member of the Brussels bar since 1985. Over the years, Ann Frédérique has acquired extensive experience in both civil and commercial proceedings before the courts. Since the beginning of the 1990s, she has had the opportunity to train in Supreme Court proceedings in civil matters, first with Me De Bruyn and then with the Supreme Court team led by Me. Pierre Van Ommeslaghe, for almost 25 years. She also gained experience with Me Isabelle Heenen.

She was appointed as a lawyer at the Belgian Supreme Court in 2017, where she succeeded to the position left vacant by Me Pierre Van Ommeslaghe.

We are delighted to welcome Ann Frédérique Belle. Her addition to the team will reinforce our capabilities to assist clients in Supreme Court matters and our overall expertise in dispute resolution,” commented Joan Carette and Axel Maeterlinck, managing partners.

Simont Braun has a longstanding experience in assisting clients in Supreme Court proceedings, notably with Paul Alain Foriers, who has been admitted to the Supreme Court bar since 2008. I am happy to start this new professional challenge by his side and supported by a strong team of experts in all areas of business law,” adds Ann Frédérique Belle.

Her appointment as a partner is effective from 1 July 2022.

Welcome to the team Ann Frédérique!
