Leading specialist in digital law joins boutique law firm LIME

Hervé Jacquemin has joined LIME as Of Counsel on 2 May 2022.

Hervé is both a renowned practicing specialized lawyer and a brilliant academic professor at the University of Namur, who is also director of the CRIDS/NADI, the research centre for digital law of said University.

Hervé has an outstanding expertise in digital law in the business field and regularly drafts and negotiates contracts for custom or standard software, cloud services or APIs.  He also advises companies on the dematerialization of certain procedures (e.g. consumer credit, or on issues of electronic signature and archiving), in complex projects involving the processing of personal data, including in the big data dimension, or in litigation aimed at prohibiting unfair practices (e.g. in advertising).

It is LIME’s conviction through its daily experience with clients that a tremendous added value results from expert advice in the digital field that is intimately linked to numerous aspects of its practice in company and finance law in M&A, venture capital, start-ups and scale-ups, including tech ones, with aspects of platforms structuring, protection of innovation and know-how, IT contracts, governance, GDPR issues, etc. and Hervé Jacquemin shall be a pillar of this activity.
