European law firm Fieldfisher is delighted to announce the promotion of Geoffroy Galéa to partner in the 2022 partner promotions round. The promotion is effective as from 1 My 2022 bringing the total of Fieldfisher partners, globally, to 280.
Two years ago, Geoffroy set-up the Fieldfisher Belgian Tax Practice, now counting 4 tax lawyers. In close collaboration with Fieldfisher’s leading lawyers, Geoffroy developed a broad-ranging tax practice covering notably income taxation, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, VAT and registration duties.
Over the years, Geoffroy gained extensive experience in various (international) tax aspects and became the trusted tax adviser of clients active mainly in the real estate, technology, life sciences, and media sectors, managing their tax risks, creating (tax) value within the framework of reorganizations, conducting audits and representing them in tax litigations.
