Eubelius is particularly delighted to announce that Liesbet Vandenplas, Korneel Decroix and Joris De Wolf will become partners at our firm from 1 January 2022. We have also appointed two new counsels: Thomas Donnez and Thijs Tanghe. Eubelius now has 24 partners and 14 (senior) counsels.
Liesbet Vandenplas is part of the Employment practice group. She has been with our firm as an attorney for ten years already and has twenty years’ experience in employment and social security law, focusing on strategic legal HR advice and representing clients in negotiations and proceedings. Liesbet is particularly well versed in the field of restructuring, (supplementary) pensions and international employment matters.
Korneel Decroix has been an attorney at the Brussels Bar for 15 years and already has 10 years behind him in the Tax practice group. Korneel specialises in VAT, although his tax practice extends beyond that, with particular expertise in the property sector, the funds industry, the banking sector and government institutions.
Joris De Wolf began his career at Eubelius in 2010 and is part of the Capital markets & listed entities team. He specialises in company and financial law, with a particular focus on public takeovers and the obligations of listed companies.
In addition to these three new partners, we are also announcing the appointment of two new counsels.
Thomas Donnez is part of our Banking & finance practice group, focusing on financing transactions such as property financing, project financing and debt capital market operations. He is also involved in the structuring of investment funds and has been an attorney at Eubelius since 2013.
Thijs Tanghe works in the Dispute resolution & litigation practice group. He specialises in contract and liability law and in dispute resolution across a range of different sectors. Thijs has been an attorney at our firm since 2014.
These internal appointments will enable Eubelius to continue supporting its clients at the highest level.
