Who are our three new team members?
Roeland Moeyersons
Roeland Moeyersons is a born and bred litigator, with twenty years’ hands-on experience in dispute resolution and arbitration in the areas of corporate law, commercial law, as well as in respect of construction and building contracts.
As such, Roeland has dealt with issues in the fields of directors' liability, shareholder disputes, disputes in the wake of mergers or acquisitions, the termination of distribution agreements, problems with the supply or payment of goods and services, international trade disputes, construction and building contract disputes for clients, suppliers, property developers, building contractors and sub-contractors.
Roeland is set to brace our team with his expertise in dispute resolution, arbitration and mediation. He is available to be called in for all disputes to do with your company, business affairs, commercial agreements and construction and contract work-related matters.
Vincent Cassiers
Vincent Cassiers specialises in intellectual property law, digital law and business law.
Vincent has racked up a solid reputation for his expertise in the areas of patent law and trade secrets.
Vincent is a lecturer on various aspects of intellectual property law at the universities of UCLouvain, KULeuven and ICLille. He has several leading publications to his name in these areas.
In May 2021, Vincent was consulted as a patent law expert by the Belgian Parliamentary Committee on Public Health and Equal Opportunities on two draft resolutions aimed at lifting the patents protecting the COVID-19 vaccines.
Vincent will be heading up our specialist team which deals with intellectual property law, digital law and privacy law. He is available to be called upon for all issues and disputes in connection with trademarks, patents, trade secrets, copyrights and software. He is also available to address privacy and GDPR-related matters.
Thibault Caeymaex
Thibault Caeymaex specialises in contract law, corporate and commercial law and dispute resolution.
After starting his career as a legal counsel at Infrabel, Thibault is a member of the Brussels Bar since 2013.
Thibault has extensive experience in the areas of commercial law and contract law, and distribution law in particular.
Thibault is joining our team to bolster our prowess in the field of corporate and commercial law. He can be called upon for questions relating to issues or disputes touching on commercial contracts and distribution law.
