CMS Belgium strengthens its tax department

Law firm CMS is pleased to announce that Stéphanie Houx will join its Brussels office as a partner, from 1 March 2021. Stéphanie is specialized in indirect taxation with a strong focus on financial and real estate sectors. This new recruitment completes the CMS' current tax practice and will reinforce the global firm’s strategy.

Before joining CMS, Stéphanie practised tax law for more than 20 years at Allen & Overy where she has become a recognized lawyer.

According to the international legal directory Chambers and Partners 2020, Stéphanie Houx has "impressive expertise in VAT-related litigation and advisory matters" and "she is also well known among market commentators for her work representing real estate investors in tax structuring mandates".
