Allen & Overy today announced that Rudy Dupont is to become a partner in Belgium. He joins the Allen & Overy Real Estate group from Baker McKenzie. His arrival will make it possible for Allen & Overy to continue to develop its Real Estate activities by focusing on the management of complex files. Rudy’s skillset will also feed into Allen & Overy’s fiscal, financing and capital market teams and help to develop further synergies between these groups – synergies that Allen & Overy constantly pursues to best meet client expectations.
Rudy Dupont specialises in real estate and construction law, with a specific focus on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has expertise in dealing with urban planning and environmental issues. He studied law at the Catholic University of Leuven, and continued his education at the University Saint Louis and the Solvay Business School in Brussels. He started his career in 1998 at Baker McKenzie, where he became a partner in 2008.
