With the arrival of Dirk Libotte as partner starting 1 January 2018, Arcas Law strengthens its position as a niche law firm specializing in risk management and dispute resolution.
Dirk Libotte – who was active at Stibbe Brussels from 1999 to mid 2017 – is responsible for the corporate crime department at Arcas Law. Dirk Libotte has broad experience in criminal law matters relating to tax, economics, and finance, and in cases concerning corporate fraud and also employee fraud. He has appeared before the Sanctions Committee of the FSMA in various matters. He is recognized by Legal500 (2016-2017 edition) as “leading individual” for the (white-collar crime) criminal law category. Dirk will also handle Court of Cassation proceedings in criminal and disciplinary matters.
