Dispute Review Board Training 2018

The Association for International Arbitration will organise a training on the "Dispute Review Board" on February 19, 2018.

The Dispute Review Boards (DRBs) is a mechanism frequently used in large projects, mainly in the construction sector. The aims of a DRB is to avoid escalation of issues and to have them resolved as soon as possible in order to avoid loss of time.

Provisionnal Programme: The topics covered in Dispute Review Board 2018 include current state of play on various continents; demonstration of the establishment of standing and ad hoc Dispute Review Boards, their internal working procedures, documentary protocols and pre-meeting issues under the CIArb, FIDIC and ICC Rules; Dispute Review Board decision drafting and dissemination; post decision matters, including arbitration or litigation.

Confirmed speakers for Dispute Review Board 2018 include Susanne Kratzsch, Andrew Burr, William Buyse and Philippe Billiet. Further information regarding this event will be provided shortly.
