Vialegis joins the House of HR

House of HR announced today that a final agreement has been reached whereby Vialegis, the specialist in legal recruitment in Belgium, joins the group House of HR, a European HR group with Belgian roots. With over 13 years of experience, Vialegis contributes to the success of law firms and legal departments of companies by finding the best legal talents. Thanks to the House of HR platform, Vialegis will now have the means to implement its international ambitions while at the same time being able to retain its entrepreneurial character.

Highly skilled professionals

Vialegis was established by Philippe Jadoul, actual CEO, and two lawyer-friends. Today, the company has a staff of 20 people of which 15 lawyers/consultants. “Each year we successfully fill more than 120 positions in the legal sector, ranging from junior lawyers to partners for law firms,” Philippe Jadoul explained. “We also appoint around 70 legal experts each day to temporary positions at medium-sized and big companies.” In September 2016, Vialegis also established a ‘notary’ division to alleviate the significant shortage of full-time and temporary lawyers at notary offices. In light of the fact that legal aspects and risk management are increasing in importance in the corporate world, Vialegis has experienced significant growth in recent years. Legal interim management is also responding towards the growing trend of flexibility on the labour market.

European ambition

Vialegis still sees plenty of opportunity for growth in Belgium, but also aims to achieve international success as a niche specialist. The company has already opened offices in Luxembourg, Madrid and Barcelona, and at the same time endeavours to become the leading provider of legal staffing solutions in a number of other core countries. “We are initially concentrating on Germany, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland,” says Jadoul. “Being part of House of HR will enable us to grow more quickly in those countries. After all, this will put us in a better position to make acquisitions in our niche market and to create synergies with the other members of the group already present in these countries.”

Entrepreneurial culture

Jérôme Caille, CEO of House of HR, said he was impressed by the way the Vialegis team managed to achieve fast growth in the legal niche: “By including Vialegis in the House of HR group, we strengthen our presence in this future-oriented niche in Belgium, while at the same time we now have a considerable growth edge in those other countries we are already present in, allowing us to increase revenue and expand our activities.” The strong entrepreneurial culture of House of HR and Vialegis makes them the perfect match. “This convergence gives us the opportunity to remain real entrepreneurs, while still being able to take advantage of the experience and know-how of other specialists in a variety of countries.”

House of HR acquires 75% of the shares of Vialegis while the management retains 25%.
