Law Firm Nelissen Grade has welcomed Mr. Alexis Hallemans as a partner. Alexis comes over from CMS Belgium and worked before with CMS Hasche Sigle in Germany and Lawfort in Brussels. This transfer emphasizes the further specialization and internationalization of the firm.
Alexis specializes in intellectual property and IT law, trade practices and e-commerce and is recommended in these fields in the Legal 500 in Belgium (Tier 2). He assists both national and international clients in 4 languages. In copyright law he pleaded before the Court of Justice of the EU and before the Belgian Constitutional Court. Alexis is a member of the board of the German-Belgian-Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce. A considerable part of the clients he assists are German companies. Alexis graduated at the KULeuven (2001) and obtained a LL.M Eur at the Institute of Europe of the University of Saarbrücken (Germany). He also obtained an additional Masters degree is intellectual property law at the university of Brussels.
