New partner at Allen & Overy's Belgian IP & IT practice

Allen & Overy is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Van Dyck as partner in its IP & IT practice as from 1 May 2017.

In 13 years with Allen & Overy, Peter has built up a strong track record in advising clients on in information technology and technology-related IP, including license agreements, R&D agreements and outsourcing transactions. He also represents clients in litigation, including IP design infringement proceedings. In addition, Peter has built up specific expertise in the area of privacy and data protection law. His clients originate from a number of sectors, such as IT, life sciences, automotive, media, telecom, and the financial sector.

Complementary to his client related work, Peter lectures on intellectual property law and marketing law at the KULeuven.

Peter’s promotion is part of a larger international decision to strengthen the Allen & Overy network worldwide. Therefore, a total of 24 lawyers, active in 6 different practice groups, were promoted to partner in 10 different countries.
