Barbara François has joined the Vialegis team in February 2017. Barbara studied law at the University of Ghent, where she graduated as Master of Laws in June 2007, with a specific specialization in employment law and social security law.
Subsequently, Barbara started working at niche law firm Claeys & Engels (Kortrijk) in October 2007. Early 2009, she transferred to the Bar of Brussels and started working as associate for law firm NautaDutilh. For a period of 8 years, Barbara was active within the department of employment law, for which she advised national and international clients on all aspects of individual and collective employment law matters. She also carried out several proceedings before the Labour Court. Furthermore, at NautaDutilh Barbara was responsible for training (summer) interns and in addition to that, she also provided several special trainings to clients on different aspects of law. She combined this with her work as assistant at the employment law department of the KU Leuven.
Because she had always gained great satisfaction from the personal interactions with clients and colleagues, Barbara decided to redirect her career and to choose the path of Human Resources. She joined the Vialegis team and has been active as a consultant with us since February 2017.
