New Partner Younity : Laurence Markey

The Younity law firm continues its strategic development with the appointment of Laurence Markey as the partner who will be responsible for the department of Public Service Law.

As a leading player in the sectors of social legislation and pensions law, Younity is especially proud to announce the appointment of Laurence Markey as of 1 December 2016. As an expert renowned for her work in public services law, Laurence Markey will take the lead in this highly important field of employment law. 

Laurence Markey has nearly 20 years of experience in counselling and practice in administrative litigation for the Council of State and the judiciary and disciplinary courts.  She also deals with matters relating to public service law at the local or national level (including European law). In addition, Laurence has developed a particular expertise in the area of equality of treatment.

Laurence teaches in various institutions, notably in the High Court of Justice and is regularly invited as an expert to the Masters programme in social law at the Free University of Brussels.
