Quinz appoints Klaas Thibaut as partner and celebrates its 5th anniversary

Business law firm Quinz has announced that Klaas Thibaut has been appointed as a partner. Klaas’ appointment will boost the firm's Corporate & Commercial practice and the capacity and profile of the growing firm in general.

Klaas Thibaut joined Quinz 3 years ago and specializes in corporate, finance and commercial matters and transactions, with a particular focus on M&A and complex commercial contracts (including supply chain and ICT). He also has specific regulatory expertise in the area of data privacy.

Klaas’ co-partners are visibly enthused with their newest addition: "From the very first second Klaas entered our offices we just knew that this would be a perfect match. Klaas’ very strong legal skills, his pragmatic approach and empathetic character are greatly appreciated by our team and our firm’s clients. We are really fortunate to have him as a partner in our team and his refreshing insights on the strategic growth of our firm are simply invaluable."

Klaas added: "Quinz was an obvious choice for me. No other firm can offer such an appealing combination of the thriving enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit of a young team and the commitment to provide top legal advice and support to its clients. I very much look forward to further strengthening our practice".

Klaas’ appointment coincides with the celebration of the fifth anniversary of Quinz. Quinz is an independent boutique business law firm committed to delivering top legal quality at national rates (which we refer to as "affordable excellence"). The firm focuses on on Corporate (M&A) and Commercial, Life Sciences & Technology and Litigation.

Since its inception in 2011, Quinz has won the trust of a wide array of clients and has developed into a well-established business law firm recommended by Chambers and Legal 500. By the end of 2016, the team will be comprised of approximately 25 lawyers, many of whom have experience of working at top international law firms and as in-house counsel at some of the finest multinationals in Belgium and abroad.
