Jeroen Dewispelaere promoted to the partnership at & DE BANDT

The Brussels’ law firm & DE BANDT welcomes Jeroen Dewispelaere as a new partner.

Jeroen is specialised in Belgian and European regulatory law, with a focus on competition and state aid law, internal market legislation and services of general interest. He regularly represents national and international clients in complex proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Commission and the Belgian courts. He also has extensive experience in tackling various regulatory questions in relation to the regulated markets and the network industries.

He studied law at the University of Ghent (2001-2006), where he also obtained a master degree in EU Studies (2008). After his studies, he completed internships at the United Nations and the European Ombudsman in Brussels. Then he worked as a legal advisor with the Department of Economy, Science and Innovation (EWI) of the Government of Flanders.

Jeroen is a 'home-grown' partner of the firm, as he started his career at the bar of Brussels in October 2010 as an associate of & DE BANDT.
