Van Bael & Bellis is pleased to welcome David Hull as a Partner

Van Bael & Bellis is pleased to announce that David Hull has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Hull Is a highly-experienced competition lawyer who has been involved in a number of major cases in recent years including the Lundbeck case on patent settlements and Ryanair's appeal of the Commission's decision blocking its takeover of Aer Lingus. He is particularly known for his deep experience in the life sciences sector, which will reinforce Van Bael & Bellis' active life sciences practice.
Mr. Hull said: "I'm delighted to be joining Van Bael & Bellis, which has a superb group of lawyers and one of Brussels' strongest competition practices. I was an associate with Ivo Van Bael and Jean-Francois Bellis when they started the firm in the mid- 1980s and worked there for some 15 years before joining Covington, so I have longstanding relationships with many of the lawyers and look forward to rejoining what is a very collegial group - it's somewhat of a homecoming for me."
