DBB strengthens competition team with new partner hire

DBB has appointed Tom Pick as a new partner in its Brussels office. Tom, formerlypartner in the Brussels offices of international firms Hammonds LLP and Squire Sanders LLP, will take a leading role in expanding the firm's already existing
competition law practice while at the same time taking over responsibility for the
newly created German desk.

Before setting up his own practice in May 2011, Tom, who is German qualified, spentthirteen years working in the Brussels competition team at Hammonds before moving to Squire Sanders (as a result of the merger with Hammonds). His experience rangesfrom cartels, merger control, abuse of dominance and State aid to EU and international trade law matters, including customs and export control law, as well asregulated industries. His reputation has been widely recognized by leading legal directories such as Legal 500 and JUVE.
