De Wolf & Partners chooses independence to ensure continued development

The law firm De Wolf & Partners has chosen independence from the Osborne Clarke Alliance in the interest of its Belgian and international development.

The seven members of the Osborne Clarke Alliance have redefined the terms of their partnership. The Italian and Spanish practices have merged with the Anglo-German (Osborne Clarke) practice, while the French (Stehlin & Associés), Dutch (Ploum Lodder Princen) and Belgian (De Wolf & Partners) practices have decided to keep their independence.

This new "business model" means two things for De Wolf & Partners: greater independence and the continuation of a development strategy allowing for a greater degree of client satisfaction.

This renewed independence is a strategic decision that will allow De Wolf & Partners to choose, without any exclusivity, the best international collaborations for the benefit of its clients.

De Wolf & Partners will persue its development strategy which has made possible its steady growth while offering a quality service through teams which are close to the client in order to guarantee the best possible results.

Yves Tavernier, Managing Partner of De Wolf & Partners, clarifies that "This new configuration confirms our position and is consistent with our strategy of international expansion through our offices in Luxembourg, Shanghai and our strong presence in Africa. Our strategic capability is greater because we are free to choose our partners abroad while retaining the obvious assets of the Osborne Clarke Alliance. For our Belgian and international clients, this mean the guarantee of a better service."

In a profession branded as increasingly specialized, De Wolf & Partners stands out because of a comprehensive service offering. The hub of the firm is in Belgium (80% volume), with the opportunity for the clients to benefit from the same service offering from in Luxembourg, Shanghai (China) and a number of African countries. For several years, De Wolf & Partners has been distinguishing itself by representing numerous Belgian companies that have successfully developed internationally (four were awarded the title of company of the year in 2010 and 2011).
