This Tuesday, September 6th, the Council of the Bar Association is getting ready to hold its first weekly meeting and to start on its activities, which promise to be numerous. However, I am not writing now to talk to you about them. I will have plenty of opportunities to do so in future communications.
Instead, I am writing to wish each of you a happy and prosperous judicial year. Our Bar Association is made up of a multitude of people, and I hope that each of you, regardless of age, gender, national origin, specialty or the way in which you practice, will continue to flourish.
Even if it seems that the challenges of our time, and more particularly those facing the Bar today, are many, I am convinced that the spirit of solidarity and collegiality that defines us will enable us to meet them. For my part, I am aware that, without your help and support, without the support of the entire Bar for the projects that we intend to carry out, nothing will be possible. So, above all, do not hesitate to reach out to me or to draw my attention to the issues that concern you. I am and will remain receptive to your concerns and wishes throughout the year.
I wish you all the best for the new judicial year!
