We’re a few weeks into the month of August and young law graduates all across Belgium are gearing up to start their career as a lawyer. As former lawyers, the team members of legal tech company ClauseBase are familiar with the uncertainties and difficulties that many starting trainees struggle with. For this reason, they have collected a number of tips and tools to help them get started with their traineeship, including:
- a checklist that provides a handy overview of all sorts of administrative matters that need to be put in order before the start of the internship;
- a checklist to help lawyers review design documents before sending them out to clients or peers;
- tips from the ClauseBase team members themselves as well as lawyers in practice on how to overcome the imposter syndrome and how to keep knowledge up to date in a structured manner.
