In order to support its global expansion, Unifiedpost Group is looking for a junior commercial legal counsel.

As a legal counsel you will have the opportunity to support Unifiedpost’s fast-growing expansion. You will report to and the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and will be part of the Unifiedpost group legal team. You will be the sparring partner of the business and will (pro-)actively advise and train the different departments on various legal and commercial topics. Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Assist in the further development and roll-out of Unifiedpost’s products and business in various jurisdictions; 
   
• Identify legal risks within the organization; 
   
• Draft, negotiate and ensure compliance of/with (a broad range of commercial and IT related) contracts, while also providing assistance with corporate law and HR tasks; 
   
• Provide general and specialized advice on legal matters to the commercial, financial, IT, payments, corporate and HR departments; 
   
• Ensure availability and updates of existing contractual documents; 
   
• Assist the group entities in preparation of internal policies and procedures; 
   
• Develop and roll-out international legal projects.

• You have obtained a Master in Law. 
   
• You have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, gained in a law firm or as in-house counsel, acquired in an international environment; 
   
• You are stress resistant and fulfil tasks within given deadlines with a can-do attitude; 
   
• You are able to work autonomously and proactively; 
   
• You have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercialand other business contracts; 
   
• You have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. You are fluent in German and English (other languages such as Dutch and/or French are a plus); 
   
• You have a keen interest in IT; 
   
• You have interest in assisting with the tasks related to corporate law and HR; 
   
• You are eager to learn and have the ability to understand technical and financial implications of transactions;
