To strengthen the team headed by Julien Hick, AKD’s Belgian employment law department in Brussels is looking for a junior lawyer with 2 to 4 years of experience in employment law.

As an employment lawyer, you will be part of a fast growing team and handle files from A to Z, in direct contact with the partner and clients.

You will typically assist national and international businesses with a variety of matters, such as restructurings, individual dismissals, employment law aspects of M&A transactions (including transfers of undertakings), compensation & benefits and privacy in the workplace. The team also regularly appears before Belgian labour courts.

You hold a Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university and can show strong academic records.

You have 2 to 4 years' experience in employment law within an international or business-oriented national law firm.

You are ambitious, result-driven and a real team player.

You are a French native speaker and fluent in English. A good command of Dutch and other foreign languages is always an asset.
