Eversheds Sutherland is currently looking for a Belgian law qualified employment lawyer with 1 to 4 years of experience to help grow the Employment practice based in Brussels.

You will serve a large and diverse client base (both domestic and international) and you will work in close co-operation with the global Employment Practice.

You will provide solution oriented legal services regarding all aspects of local, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional individual and collective employment law matters (restructuring and collective bargaining, employment and workplace issues, legal aspects of human resources policy, termination of employment contracts, international employment, privacy, ...). You will regularly work in close collaboration with the corporate team to deliver a “one-stop-shop” service and advise on corporate employment matters.

• You are a Belgian qualified lawyer with an strong academic record. A post graduate qualification in Labour & Employment Law is considered an asset.
• You have 1 to 4 years of experience in employment law.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and you are fluent in English and French.
• You are internationally oriented. Having studied or worked abroad is of added value.
• You have high working standards.
• You are precise, thorough and well organized.
• You have excellent communication and drafting skills.
• You are a team player who is also able to work individually.
• You have a hands-on attitude and you are solution focused.
