My client is currently looking for a trilingual Transactional Real Estate Advisor with 5 to 10 years of experience.

As a member of the legal team of Weerts Group, you will have the following responsibilities: drafting and review of various types of construction and real estate relate agreements (commercial leases, real estate constructions, purchase and sale agreements, building contracts, property rights, financing agreements, etc); 

• legal assistance in contract negotiations; 
   
• follow-up and management of existing contracts and assistance to issues arising during the development process; 
   
• legal assistance in the acquisition process: legal due diligence and review/drafting of transaction documents, point of contact for external counsels and the follow op real estate litigations;  
   
• pro-active follow-up and legal guidance of the ongoing real estate projects; 
   
• management and follow-up of legal disputes e.g. with buyers, contractors, etc.; 
   
• when required, coordination with external lawyers and advisors.

• You have a Belgian Master degree in Law;You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a real estate lawyer and/or as an in-house legal counsel, preferably with a focus on transactional work;
   
• You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch with a good knowledge of French and English. German is a strong asset;
   
• You are pragmatic, hands-on and result-driven;
   
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are able to work in a demanding and fast moving environment;
   
• You are capable and willing to defend the company's contractual interest;
   
• You are flexible and efficient; and
   
• You like to work in a team and enjoy sharing knowledge, but you are also able to work independently and take own responsibilities.
