Legal Intern: EU Cybersecurity, Data & Privacy

If you are passionate about cybersecurity and privacy and understand that those topics are bringing cutting-edge legal challenges, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded and motivated team with in-depth knowledge and experience in the area. You will be working on a whole range of cybersecurity and data privacy matters (incident preparation and response, certification schemes, cybersecurity & data privacy aspects of various areas, including IoT, blockchain technologies and connected vehicles) and new data governance models.

Legal Intern: EU Trade

If you are passionate about trade, this is an excellent opportunity to take on significant responsibility as part of a team with in-depth knowledge and experience in the area.

The Brussels trade team has substantial experience with EU trade remedies cases (antidumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard proceedings) and also concerning customs issues and the trade impact of legislative initiatives in other areas of EU regulatory competence, for example the trade impact of EU measures concerning chemical substances; product approvals and technical standards; food safety rules and environmental protection measures.

Legal Intern: EU Cybersecurity, Data & Privacy

The successful candidate will have a strong academic profile with a clear focus on European law in general and EU data protection law in particular. Some experience in EU cybersecurity, data or privacy law is preferred.

Legal Intern: EU Trade

The successful candidate will have a clear focus on European law in general and trade in particular. Some experience in trade, investment issues and strategies for negotiating international trade agreements is preferred. 

 
For both positions, the successful candidates will be fluent in English. Fluency in other languages would be an advantage. Candidates must be good team-players who can also work independently when required.
