What you’ll learn and do
PwC Legal is looking for an experienced tax lawyer to strengthen its Tax Litigation and Tax Dispute Resolution department for the Brussels office. You’ll be part of a team focussing on preventing and resolving tax disputes with federal, regional, local, and foreign tax authorities. A tax controversy may involve a business (whether for-profit or not-for-profit), trust, estate, or individual, and can result from any kind of taxation (direct taxes as well as indirect taxes, local taxes, crossborder aspects of taxes,...). The team is providing services throughout the tax dispute lifecycle such as :

Developing local/global coordinated dispute resolution and litigation strategies, making use of national legislation, EU law and the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Assist with voluntary disclosures.

Assist clients during (domestic and multilateral) audits, internationale exchange of information, specific investigations and raids.

Assist with administrative appeals and settlement discussions through negotiation with authorities and mediation and arbitration procedures.

Defend client’s interests in the national and international courts.

Advise clients with respect to recovery matters and criminal liability questions.
As a Tax Litigation lawyer, you will offer our clients an extensive range of services (legal advice, policy drafting, litigation etc.).
