  • is fluent in English (in addition to native Dutch, with good knowledge of French);

  • has a Master's degree in law in Belgium with demonstrated strong academic results (a special year in Employment law is a plus);

It is in our DNA as employment lawyers within OC to adopt a pragmatic, client focus and proactive approach when responding to our clients' needs. An employment lawyer at OC always delivers concrete and out-of-the-box solutions in line with today's and tomorrow's developments. We also work very closely with our colleagues in other jurisdictions. Together with the European team , we have set up an online risk tool which assesses the legal impact of key Future of Work developments – e.g. the impact of technology. We have contributed in particular to the issues around Health and Safety as well as Agile working.

We’re looking for the sharpest minds and the brightest talent to work with some of the best-known brands and businesses in the world. In return, you’ll be given the chance to shine. We give people the opportunity to contribute from the outset, with class-leading support and guidance every step of the way. Regardless of role or responsibility, we make sure that everybody has the chance to make an impact and bring something to the table.

Wellbeing, family and work-life balance are key at Osborne Clarke. We promote agile working as we strongly believe finding balance between work and private life ultimately helps our team be more productive and efficient. It also boosts happiness levels both at home and at work and, in doing so, increases resilience to professional challenges. Osborne Clarke has recently been described as “possibly the nicest and most down to earth law firm ever[…]. Even in a busy seat the work life balance at OC is pretty good, and is something the firm really cares about,” (Legal Cheek, January 2018).

Promoting a firm culture that is dynamic and vibrant is what sets us apart. We foster a high level of trust that encourages people to think creatively and embrace new ideas. If you join us, we will challenge and inspire you to do the same. We’ve created a working environment that is professional, exciting and collaborative, where approachability, focus and a sense of humour are the values we live by. We organise numerous team-building activities throughout the year. We have recently organised a ski trip to the French Alps and a yoga afternoon.
