Associate Distribution and Competition Law

Janson is a multidisciplinary and multilingual business law firm founded in 1950. It advises and assists companies, individuals and public authorities in a wide range of areas of expertise. The firm has around 100 lawyers, most of whom have an LL.M. or other Belgian or foreign university degree in addition to their law degree.

To drive its growth, Janson is looking for an Associate in distribution and competition law for its Brussels office.

You will be part of the Distribution Law department, where both team spirit and independence are of importance. You will be supervised by Prof. du Jardin and will benefit from ongoing training in attractive industries such as the automotive industry, watches and jewellery. In the front line with him and the customers, your tasks will be varied: organising distribution networks, drafting the contracts that support them, advising customers to avoid disputes and, if this should happen, deploying the necessary measures to win them.

• Interest in distribution law, competition law and civil and commercial proceedings
   
• A few years of experience
   
• Pragmatic and solution oriented attitude
   
• Good communication and writing skills
   
• Team player and flexible
   
• Excellent language abilities (bilingual French/English or Dutch/English; knowledge of a third language is a plus)
