As a Data Privacy Associate, you will be working alongside our Data Protection Officer. Together you will maintain and further develop the data protection framework at EY in Belgium (Machelen). You will be a member of a small legal team, but you will be collaborating with several different departments throughout EY.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist the DPO in the execution of all kinds of tasks regarding Data Privacy
• Providing advice related to Data Privacy
• Follow-up of projects regarding to Data Privacy
• Follow-up on DSAR’s, DB and Policies
• Monitor new evolutions and decisions regarding to Privacy
• Write and update Guidelines and Policies
• Creation of presentations and communications related to Data Privacy

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor Law Practice or equivalent
• 4 to 5 years of working experience
• Strong interest and affinity with Privacy
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• Good knowledge of presentation and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerPoint

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of IT Law and cybersecurity
• Out of the box thinking is appreciated
