Key SPOC for legal and compliance matters with focus on sales/marketing teams and to a lesser extent the supply points.

Key deliverables to show success: (1) can-do mentality / (2) looks for solutions, not problems / (3) is able to connect easily with business stakeholders in order to build a relation of trust, allow him or her to raise the red flag if needed in a confident way

Key responsabilities:

• You act as main legal business partner for our sales and marketing teams (e.g. advice and support of contract negotiations with customers, marketing campaigns, TV commercials, collaborations with bloggers & influencers)
   
• You support our 2 Belgian product sites at Wevelgem & Rotselaar (e.g. CAPEX-investments, real estate & engineering projects, supply chain, energy, direct & indirect Procurement)
   
• You support the General Counsel on the assessment of various compliance topics (donations, grants, sponsorships and trainings)
   
• You handle and follow up litigations
   
• You monitor evolutions in relevant national and European legislation and inform internal business stakeholders accordingly in order to keep abreast of legislative changes, to stimulate legal awareness and to ensure legal compliance within the company

You have a Belgian Masters of Law degree. You have at least 4 years of experience within a legal department and/or as lawyer. Knowledge of the FMCG/retail sector is considered as an asset.

You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.

You have a broad legal knowledge in matters relevant for our company (such as commercial law, contract law, market practices, food law, real estate, data protection, competition law). Any knowledge of public procurement and/or life sciences is considered as a plus in order to fully support our Nutricia-business.
