Within Gaming1's legal and administrative department, you will be part of the Corporate & HR Legal Support team, which provides legal support to the Board of Directors and the Finance and HR departments in the following areas:

  • M&A (acquisition and disposal of companies)
  • Corporate law (mainly corporate housekeeping) as the team is in charge of the legal secretariat of the group’s companies
  • Corporate governance
  • Social law (in the context of the purchase of a company)
  • Tax files related to corporate and HR matters (e.g. transfer pricing, ATN processing…)
  • Various support contracts (services, ordering of goods and products for head offices...), dispute management...

As Corporate Legal Counsel, you will work on a variety of topics and will be at the heart of the company's projects. You will also sometimes play a coordinating role (case management) in collaboration with other departments and external partners. More specifically, you will:

  • Be responsible for the legal aspects of M&A deals (acquisition and disposal of companies, reorganisations, mergers...), including negotiations and agreements implementation
  • Ensure and coordinate the legal secretariat of the group’s companies from a corporate law perspective (corporate housekeeping) in Belgium and internationally if necessary (with the support of local advisors)
  • Organise, in collaboration with the notary, the deeds of the group's companies
  • Set up intra-group agreements and more generally agreements with external parties (e.g., loans, provision of services)
  • Set up and draft agreements relating to the team's activities (corporate, business, tax and social law)
  • Provide legal advice and consultation, mainly in corporate law
  • Manage certain disputes with the support of the intervening law firms
  • Organise legal monitoring
  • Carry out regular reporting to the Legal Manager and more generally to the team

If you have a background or experience in tax law, you will also be responsible for coordinating the department's tax files and providing first-line advice in this area.


  • You hold a master's degree in law. A specialisation in tax law or a double master's degree in law/management is a plus, as well as experience with other legislations (France, Spain, USA...)
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • You have a particular interest in the legal management of the corporate aspects of a company and an interest in the financial and administrative aspects of the business world
  • You are well organised and rigorous
  • You are able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • You are stress resistant
  • You are able to work independently but also in a team
  • You are fluent in French and have a very good command of English, at least in writing. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
